My garden fence has got a hole in it.

I must have walked past this hole a zillion times and never thought to take a picture of it.

Daisy, armed with the vivitar popped it in the hole and took this shot. I love the fact that she has produced a great diptych type shot

Excellent work, Daisy! This is very cool, two totally different scenes existing on either side of the fence, like private life vs public life...

This is so cool that she captured 2 different shots in one, she has the eye for this, that's for sure!

firstly apologise to cassie from me for calling her polly by mistake .. it must have been because i had very cold fingers, like right now, and it was an inadvertant typo !!!...
hmmmmm jon .. also just thought i might mention that one of the rules for our challenges is that your photograph must be "taken and post-processed by you. Someone else may press the shutter button if you set up the shot and the camera settings. No one else may post-process your entry for you. Exceptions must be approved by the Site Council in advance."
this rule is obviously put in place to spare us from the negative feelings you are currently going thru, ie. "7 comments and none for my shot, man those kids are going to see a different side of me tomorrow....little brats!!!!" ..
tell daisy that i love her composition, it shows originality and talent .. and i wont go on with more praise coz you may find it harrowing to listen to .. is it at all possible for you to pass on my abbreviated comment without hearing it yourself ?? ..i certainly dont want to add to your feelings of inadequacy!!! lol ... :):)

Some of my fav. images are of the "odd angle" variety. It's very interesting to get the different view. Very smart of her to get this image. Beautiful leading lines and composition. Quite the talented photographer.

I love this photo - it's like two worlds captured in one. Artistically it's wonderfully composed, and there are two distinctly different atmospheres on either side of the photo. Well done!

I think this is my favorite one. It's like she followed the rule of thirds with the fence and the clarity on both sides is wonderful. I like that there is a path on the right leading into the depth of the pic.

Very nice, Daisy. I think the best part of this photo is the composition -- it really does give the impression of two photos combined. Hazy skies are a drag, but often unavoidable. Clever shot!

Again I am not reading the artists comments before commenting.

This photo is really 2 photos in one, with a nice line deviding them. The two half's are quite a contrast, one a lush garden, the other an alley with hard cement path. One inviting, one not so inviting. I love the contrast and the opposites portrayed here.

The sky is a little blown out, but that could be correct easily with a little crop.
