Great motion here and there's nothing like a candid in B&W. BTW, all four shots are good. |

yep, explanations can ruin a natural ability i reckon .. there are so many rules, apparently, for photographers to go by .. like rule of thirds, dont shoot into the sun, dont over or underexpose, focus etc etc etc .. i try not to listen coz i personally feel its when you break the rules is when you get something totally awesome .. of course i'm still waiting for my photographs to be awesome .. !!! ... hmmmm maybe i should obey just a few of those rules??.. thing is i'd have to check out wot those rules actually are .. the one's i've mentioned above are just wot i've heard in passing i've never actually done any study of the subject .. hmmm again .. MAYBE I SHOULD !!!
i've never never liked posed shots .. probably a hang over from when i was a child and my father was always getting us to pose .. me being the shy little thing hated it .. i just love candid where the people dont know they are being photographed ..
this is photograph by cassie is just excellent .. she's caught such exuberance . :):) BLOCK YOUR EARS JON .. !!:) |

Children in b/w is quite timeless. As is her expression and actions. I love the motion captured here. Very nice. |

This is awesome! You have a group of little geniuses there. The atmosphere and mood captured in this photo are outstanding. Good choice to convert to BW. |

This is a great motion capture and I like that you can see the movement in her hair. And it is nice that she is not looking at the camera. Nice choice for black and white. |

Children are always going full speed, so the slight blur is a good touch! |

I did not read the artist comments, as I want this to be anonymous as to which person took this.
This is a fabulous shot, the movement and joy are a wonderful reflection of childhood. The black and white suits this very well as the eye is free to see the joy without being distracted by the color. |
