002 Sycamore leavesby idpComment: The background is awesome. I almost wish that the foreground leaves and stems weren't there. |

a curious paradoxby JutildaComment: I quite like it too. I especially like the structure of it. How the stem of the flower is relatively straight gives it a bit of a strict contemporary feel. |

Vastby AliciaComment: I do agree that the overlay has added a great sense of whimsy, but I only say that about the lighter spots. The darker area on the left takes me out of that dreamy whimsical state and I say, "Ah, overlay". It takes the dimension out of the photo and flattens it, because the spots don't follow the curvature of the landscape. There's waves coming in, why would there be texture in the waves like that?
The right 1/4 of the photo is incredible with the texture, but I think the left could use some fuzzy erasering to incorporate it better. |

A Dip in the Creekby jomariComment: This is one of those photos that breaks some rules and does it well. If you were to enter this into a challenge here people would be all over your blown highlights on the water. I would then have to disagree!
I think those blown highlights are actually what makes the shot for me. I don't know what time of day you took this photo, but it tells me that you took it way earlier than I would have been able to drag my ass out of bed (which isn't hard since I work Swing shift). The bright light kisses the crystal clear water and bounces to warm and illuminate your pup. |

Body Surfing by KelliComment: Hang 10, dude! You even did a radical tilted angle, nice touch. |

Left Turnby GregoryBComment: I'm a shallow DOF kind of gal, so you had me at 2.8. What's great about super shallow DOF is the shapes that are created. I'm drawn to the wings here. They look so soft, structured, and sturdy, but we all know how fragile they really are. Cute tongue too! |

_MG_6433-webby idpComment: You've achieved good tones with your b/w. I do agree with some of the other folks saying it's a little creepy. Some of us may have seen Puppet Master a few too many times though. |

008-copy-a-copyby pmichaudComment: Not too shabby. It's a little soft, but sometimes "a little soft" is what you shoot for. It's a shot I would have kept. |
