Great for a handheld. I haven't even come close to anything like that with mine.

Very nice for handheld! I can never get decent images of the moon. There's nice contrast. I agree it's a little soft, but not bad. The tone is a little sepia looking which is unexpected as well.

Not too shabby. It's a little soft, but sometimes "a little soft" is what you shoot for. It's a shot I would have kept.

At least you stayed up for this. Nice attempt though a little out of focus.

It is a very nice picture. night shots that are handheld are always difficult, but you have done an excellent job capturing the overall scene. It has a nice "feel" to it.

Well.... the face I see is sort of a cross between a "happy face" and the Pillsbury dough boy. I see a "smile" in the lower right with a slightly misshapen nose above that and two dark circles representing the eyes. I don't know what the darkish patch above one of the circles represents LOL.

Not a bad job for handheld! I forgot to set my alarm to get up and see this. My husband tried to take pictures with my camera, but none came out. LOL!

Even with your troubles in capturing, you've done an excellent job! Like how it's off centre and so clear. Shame it's a tad soft but what can you expect shooting handheld. Overall great job IMO!

Depending on which way you look at this, it almost looks like the moon is in shock with whats happening with the eclipse

considering all your difficulties you managed to get an excellent image .. i've looked and looked but i cant see a definite face .. i can see a human skull slightly concealed tho .. must be the way my mind works .. :)
