Off-center composition is nice. I like the deformation of the shadow. I get like that too sometimes, just want to go and take pictures of anything. Some part of my brain sees a relationship or a cool angle or something, so I snap it. A little while later I'm looking at it in LR and thinking "What was I thinking?" :-)

Now this is an interesting pic. Like the perspective is reversed to be downward, looks like a reflection. The DOF is great, awesome detail on the upper parts of the trees. Nice shot!

I originally was going to dismiss it as a poor shot then read about the texturing and it became more interesting. Now I notice the sunset too. Because of this I'm not sure it really stands on its own though (the subject isn't that interesting) but the write-up and process helps.
