same wasp as yesterday ..
i was going to put him with some different droplets to day 3 .. i opened the photographs from that day and just wondered how the first couple would go with the wasp .. and that's as far as i got .. if i'd looked thru the rest of that day's photographs i think i would'v come up with something a bit better than this and day 3 ..
if you guys can bear to see another wasp i might do one in a better dewy landscape .. :) .. SMILE .. !! .. that smile's for you lisa iamwoman.. !!

oh .. i just remembered that i took a heap of photographs of wood beetles mating yesterday .. maybe i'll use them instead as comedy relief .. !!!

Nice job getting that bug to appear nearly 3D. I would be this would be absolutely scary at a huge size.

I really love the glossy (not glassy) look in this guy's eye. He almost appears to be made from plastic or ceramic. Nice work, Roz.

I could look at your wasps every day. Your macro skills are outstanding, and I love the way you give them an edgy artsy look with your expert processing.

He does look like he's smiling at Lisa :)

Very cool. He looks like he's deep sea diving here. :)

This comp works well too. The darkness of the greens offsets the wasp nicely.

Quite frightening, Roz ! The way the bug is coming into the image is amazing - you must be a contortionist !!!

you're sure having fun with this wasp. It still makes my skin crawl, and here this shot is even darker in mood. I'll be having nightmares from this soon
