 Rotini Pasta!!!

About 3x maginification with a 50mm reversed at the the end of the macro lens. Backlit lighting from shoot though umbrella and small reflector to provide some fill light on the front

Convert from raw in IDC
PP in Gimp
Levels/Curves
Invert to make white background black and make everything surreal
Clone out some hot spots and dust bunnies

Looks like spiral pasta to me. Centered symmetry works well with the repeating curves.

Clearly that's pasta. One thing that's fun is to not have your screen maximized and scroll up and down slowly while looking at this photo. Maybe that's just me, heh.

The lighting is a little flat, but for some reason it works. I like the little specks within the pasta too.
