    Thumbnail shows me at age 11 months. Didn't really get serious about photography until getting digital camera about 50 years later.

    For me, the camera is a tool that encourages me to see with clarity and awareness wherever I look. The photograph is the test of whether my current technical and artisitc skills are up to the task of capturing what I envision. Sometimes this iinvolves selective framing of what is already present. Sometimes it involves setting up objects, posing people, manipulating lighting, or post processing. The photographs then have a chance to communicate with others, with each person interpreting differently. Long journey, constantly learning, enriched by sharing, grateful for this community.
