I cannot believe I didn't comment on this spectacular shot! I gave it a 10 - and I thought I always commented on my highest rated images (and tried to comment on all). Simply superb. Adding to my faves. You always amaze me Roz.
Edit: Well, it's already in my Faves! hahaha I guess I can spot perfection when I see it! ;-)

Wow Roz. HUGE congrats on the Eureka prize. Many on DPC won't realise just how big a deal a Eureka prize (of any category) is. Well done. As always, I am in awe of your work with little critters.

| Roz, congratulations on an amazing picture and a unbelievable score. These flies are a headache to photograph because they are always on the move and tend to jump when the flash goes off. Your pics continue to motivate me to get out there with my macro. Unfortunately I was traveling to the US on this challenge and couldn't get out to get a picture. All the best! |

| That is totally, amazingly, unbelievable!! You should submit this to national geographics your shot. I would think it would be published in a heart beat! Congrats, and I never thought I'd see an 8+ shot. It's the first I've ever seen in a challenge! |

Well, dear Roz - I would have eaten my hat if you had not won this challenge. Needless to say, I did not vote on it. You can imagine how I would have fared looking at an entire bug challenge. But you manage to photograph vermin in the most aesthetic way - beautiful, really.

| I expect this stunning image (by roz?) to ribbon. Just to add something, i think that you should consider focus stacking to get a higher dof, not with moving subjects...just keep it in mind for still subjects. Congratulations on this wonderfull picture.9 |

| Getting that perfect side-on depth of field is not an easy job, is it? I think you did a pretty good job though. The iridescent colour is what makes this one, dare I say, shine. |
