A little tuna juice on the nose does the trick every time.

I had an entry for tilted from a senior photo shoot this past Saturday that I was happy entering. But when I noticed Tues morning that this challenge only had 36 entries my addiction kicked in. I am sucker for low entry challenges. Combed out Rowans hair and brushed out the cats hair, rubbed tuna juice on Rowans nose and placed Hairball on a stool next to her. Some of the outtakes were kind of gross with a cat tongue making a full swipe of her upper lip and nose.

This wasnt exactly what i was looking for but was easily the best of the lot. And with the score I am sitting on now I have a new top 5 image in my portfolio. It certainly isnt the best image I have ever shot - but it is the right image for the right challenge. I seem to be pretty good at that.

Still pretty stunned that this is scoring the way it is. Not complaining one bit mind you. Looking forward to rollover. Replacing any image in my top 10 is a rare occurrence anymore. Glad ot have it done with an image of my little girl. The cat is still just annoying.

Post Challenge - Whooh hooh! I am stunned that thuis scored as high as it did. It is a rare occurence that I replace an image in my top 10 - but to have a new third place is pretty cool. Thank you for the votes and comments. And even to those votes of 1,2 and 3 - I understand. It is quite a stretch to see any human/animal interaction in this picture. This is pretty much a shoehorn all the way. ;)

And a couple of outtakes. Be prepared to say "EWWWWW!!!!"

Excellent work Tim, perfect for her future college dorm room. LOL @ the tuna juice! I've put slabs of cheese on my forehead to get my dog to look at me, but tuna juice!?!? Great stuff.

I am in love with Rowan! What an amazing sport and such a fabulous model she is to first have tuna juice on her nose, then pose while her cat licks her to her heart's content :) And you can certainly see the bond between those 2 :) Awesome job!

Now that is the interaction I was expecting to see. If I ever got off my butt I would have done something similiar but with our Shih Tzu. Love the choice of B/W tones. This should be on the front page. Beautiful. 10
