OOps, we both got the shaft. I had some bird seed in my shot and I knew I couldn't edit it out, so I cropped in close then enlarged the canvas and filled it in black. I didn't even consider that might be illegal in Advanced. Oh well, next time.

OUTSTANDING... I'm always looking for that "frozen instant" in bird shots and this totally has it. At first I was missing a believable context, but the more I look at it the more I appreciate the way the abstraction of the BG lens acuity to then instant.

Even though I don't like the egret being so close to the edge (for my taste a large black border would have helped). I still gotta give this a 10...great capture.

Ha, same pic as mine... but different type of bird. Yours should blow mine away. 10 for nailing what I've been trying to nail for the past year with a much smaller bird.
