This is a good beach picture. Lots of different colors combined to make this a good photo. 7.

Nice way to capture this. Composition lifts the subject.
Good choice of colors. Good job!

Really like this, but wonder if it would have the same effect with a bit less tilt? (9)

I LOVE how there are no footprints in this photo. I wonder why you chose the angle you did, but I'm not complaining. The angle works nicely with this photo for some reason. The red bucket and blue shovel add a very nice hint of color and this definately depicts childhood. I think I just realized why you went with this angle. Was it so you could walk on the rocks to place the shovel and bucket without showing footprints? Anyway, This is a great photo. Good luck in the challenge ~Hbunch7187~

Uh oh. I would really like to hear why you tilted he camera. It's not good in this case I think. The calm light (sunset) is somehow working against the chaotic influence of the tilt. I think if the photo weren't tilted it would be one of my top favourites.
Anyway, good lighting and focus. I like the contrast of the blue/red of the toys and stones.

Brilliant. The sharpe colours of the bucket and spade stand out really well against the rocks. The angle is spot on as well. Well done. 9 - Martin

This is just beautiful and I really like the angle. The colour and detail of bucket and spade are perfect, as is their positioning. Lighting is great, shadows are great. Water and sky are just right.

Very beautiful. The tilt is good at creating the sense of a dream or memory, elevating it from the kind of static image it would be if it was straight. Nice work.

Interesting shot, though I feel a little wobbly looking at it. Guess that's the point of the angle - wobbly toddler's legs. Seems a little dark in the rocks.

This is a great, clear photo with great vibrant colors. Personally, i would like it not rotated and at the regular angle.

I like the way you angled this shot. I looked long and hard for the footsteps left behind from setting up the props. How did you do that?

Consider a title like "Pure Opportunity" to convey the same idea but not limit the viewers imagination (maybe they remember tidepools rather than castles and shells.)

very nice :) I love the exposure control on this photo. This must be a very early morning photo... the long shadows work well here... I also love the camera tilt. Some people are afraid to do this. I think it adds a great impact sometimes... great shot! = 9 - jmsetzler

I like the contrast on the rocks in this shot, and the bucket is a nice touch.
The angle is intentional, a choice you made, and maybe you love it. I can't decide. The banding in the upper left corner is unfortunate. I wonder if not compressing so much would have fixed this. Your file size would have been allowed at up to 1/3 larger. Still, the photo appeals to me overall. 6, just-married

The horizon seems a little sloped :) (yes, I'm kidding)... Excellent shot! Would have been drop dead fantastic if the sky had co-operated more :)

I'm not sure that tilting the image adds anything here. I think this could have been a really great shot if it had been a closeup of the bucket/shovel with the details and shadows in the sand.

I like your colors a LOT. The tilt is nice, but a bit too much, I think. I like the feeling of slight tilt of the head, but this is almost dizzying.

Great shot. the contrast of the blue and red really make this image jump out. Not sure if the steep tilt helps or hurts, but it does make it a little more interesting, i think. karmat

i like to see entire shadows, makes for a neat compare/contrast the item and its shade. don't believe people who tell you to keep the camera level, i like the angle.

It's a beautiful shot. I just think the emphasis should be on the kids stuff having the sea as background; not the other way arround.
