    Biography: A native of beautiful Washington state I made my living in the software industry but now work as a school counselor. I live within two hours of many diverse photo opportunties. Seattle is full of opportunities with its colorful Pike Place Market, Space Needle, and waterfront. Then there's the Pacific ocean, the mountains, the islands, the deserts and steppes of Eastern Washington, wildlife, sporting events and lots of great hiking.

    I'm pretty new to photography having taken handfuls of snapshots over the years. I'm now (as of 8/13/03) armed with my very own digital camera, a photography book, DP Challenge and a tripod. I hope to improve my photography skills and appreciation of photography by participating in DPChallenge.

    Update: I took a year off to work on my video and video editing skills and am now mixing videography and photography. I love them both. I also bought a house in Woodinville and enjoy hanging with "my" kids from church every chance I get.

    Update_2 I'm going back to school to be a high school counselor and am enjoying the many photo opportunities in Ellensburg.
