This picture rocks! Normally I think that the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the ugliest things ever designed by man, but you've managed to make it look great! Moody, gothic, and beautiful. Gold star!

This is not a new perspective. This angle is a very popular here in NYC. They sell tons of these on the street.

But yes, this shot is definitely the best of the other entries. Good job.

"One eye commentator": JPR this is an awesome and dynamic image with a low key feel. These images are hard to see the light of their merit at DPC. Here you have overextended yourself, and rightfully claimed the blue honors. Your'e the man.

I never get tired of seeing pictures of the Brookly Bridge. I love the choice you made on rotating the image. The patters created by the cables are visualy intreauging, and add a good deal of symmetry to the shot. Very cool. 8

yes, nice. Good lines and detail. Sepia seems to denote sadness and gloom though, so I'm not sure that this is a good choice.

This is great. I love the angle. Makes for a very interesting perspective. I wouldn't bother with the border though, it distracts from your lines of interest.

Interesting perspective. Was it possible to get the photo with the structure straight? I think it would be more visually pleasing.

A clear winner as far as I'm concerned. Great viewpoint, excellent use of the camera angle. All too easy to end up with a burnt out sky but you've held it well and managed to retain detail in the stonework. This is engineering and architecture in one.

An absolutely fabulous shot, very well done. Only a ten will do I'm afraid.

Edited for typo!

Very good work. I think the tilted viewpoint adds a new dimension to the symmetry. Texture, lines, tension, drama. It's all in this image.
