Originally I was thinking of using a spider. My wife and I were taking a walk and she saw this dead snake. I knew I had to use it. I was bitten by a non venomous snake when I was a child and although I no longer fear them, I respect them!

Thanks for the comment Irene. Actually it was a small "baby" snake. I am guessing a corn snake that found it's way to the hot pavement and couldn't escape.

Oh man that is my ultimate nightmare! Great depiction.

My only nitpick is the distracting elements on the sheets, go plain next time to draw the eyes to you and the snake.

And LOL to the teddy bear that is in bed with you. My pick for red.
