and this fly really had green eyes ..
i tried to find out what it was .. thinking it might be another fruit fly as it was quite small .. but i couldn't find anything similar ..
i would love to know what he is to add to my growing knowledge of all things insect ..
if anyone does know .. please let me know .. :)

thankyou so much for looking .. but i dont think its a march fly because of the large gap between its eyes ..
i'm pretty sure the march flies eyes are very close together .. think that's a sign of meanness in humans .. lol .. maybe in flies too .. ;)
edit to say ... of course i'd googled it .. and the front of the face itself looks quite different from the march flies .. :)
Your-latest group of insects , flies, with spindly legs and thick long hair growing here and there like weapons and bulbous colorful eyes like microphone make me scratch all over.
