thankyou so much for looking .. but i dont think its a march fly because of the large gap between its eyes ..
i'm pretty sure the march flies eyes are very close together .. think that's a sign of meanness in humans .. lol .. maybe in flies too .. ;)
edit to say ... of course i'd googled it .. and the front of the face itself looks quite different from the march flies .. :)

Your-latest group of insects , flies, with spindly legs and thick long hair growing here and there like weapons and bulbous colorful eyes like microphone make me scratch all over. The shots are excellent but I miss your bumblebees and others (cicadas?) clad in iridescent silk, and just ready to pose for a design of an exceptional piece of jewelry |

This doesn't bug me at all.
Print it and hang it on the wall.
Keep staring at those big green eyes,
weird-ass nose and hairy thighs,
and be thankful it's really quite small. :P |
