later in the day ... a walk on the firetrail ..
katee sticks her nose right into holes and rocks and stuff .. i often worry that she's going to put her nose somewhere really dangerous .. like where a snake is holed up .. just after this shot was taken she stuck her nose in a crack in the rocks and then jumped back quickly .. it looked like she had something hanging from her mouth which dropped off .. i found the tail of something about 4" long .. either a lizard or a very small snake .. i'll never know .. it was wriggling around heaps .. i wasnt able to find the other end .. just a bit later she did it again and i found a lizard with its tail gone .. lucky it wasnt a snake ..:)

Wild and Afraid the same time!
Since some of you asked...about the "story" of this noName Kitty:
During a weekend vacation we visited a place named Fokiano in south Peloponnese Greece. No fixed telephone lines, no mobile phones, an abandoned stoned village just a small tavern that can serve simple food and the sea. There was this kitty. Sorry to say that its difficult to survive since no people stay in that place through winter!

 This was the day after Chewy had her pups,
we wound up keeping 2 of them, the silvery gray one is Conan  and the beige one is Sandy.
