Is it just me or a 7+ score sometimes isn't a "guarantee" that you'll ribbon? There was a time when 6.8+ was already considered ribbon territory and I still do but looking at last night's results in Textures, all I have to say is "WOW!".
Surely with Manny's 8.2 image, gaining a 7+ would just be a PB for most (just look at kenskid). Amazing quality of images folks! The bar has been raised everyone.
So to those who have scored 7+ and didn't ribbon, welcome to the club. Brother Bear is the president :)

i been lucky, all my 7's have ribboned.
depends on the competition,
the most surprising one was 6.51 getting blue

I'm in it twice, yay! :)
7.06 - 7th
7.03 - 5th
But then I've also evened it out by being in the 7- and ribboning club twice, hehe :)
6.84 - 1st
6.84 - 3rd

I have two 7+ that have not ribboned and I have not yet gotten lucky and gotten a ribbon with a 7- score, I have 6 entries that scored between a 6.8 and a 7.0.
Can´t really complain about this one, I am extremely happy it did so well, honestly thought it would score about 2 points lower than it did.
Here I can´t really complain either, I mean, a free study, that has to be as tough a challenge as any to ribbon in and I never expected it to ribbon as it was hovering from 7.15 to a 7 the whole week.

A bit overrated IMO
My first 7+ image
Placed 5th in a very strong challenge where Manny took the blue with a 8.1

In this challenge there were 24 people who scored 7+ and didn't get a ribbon.

That was a tough one, yup. And "Best of 2005" had a 6.99 in 19th place...

I've secretly been praying for the Lowest Ribbon Score on DPC with my present 6.301 in Candids. There might have been lower but I was too lazy to check.
Outside of that, I had a 7 that didn't ribbon in Best of 2005. Didn't expect to Ribbon either. Yep, depends on the competition.

Lowest I've found is this one at 6.336: 
It was just a quick hunt, though, based on the lowest blue scores; I expanded the challenges to see what the yellow looked like when the blue was relatively low to begin with.

Thanks for the mention Rikki ! I was very disapointed
that my 7.2 lizard didn't ribbon. I was checking that update 50 times a day! I thought I had it. However:
Seeing that the winner was 8+ and 2nd and 3rd were only ahead of my by "hundreths" of a point, I feel I joined a good "club". It raises the bar a bit for me and makes me want to plan out my entries more carefully.
My current Candid shot was entered around the same time or a few days after my Textures. It is currently at a 5.83, but has been over 6. I'll try my best to make that my last below 6 score!

I have 5 photos that scored 7+ and didn`t ribbon :( my only blue ribbon scored 6.9 which was a nice surprise.

Count me in. 8th place with this one at 7.179 in Free Study X:
I also have a 6.903 which beat this one rank-wise at 6th place.

Sadly, all my 7+ photos (all 3 of them :)) did not ribbon
