Beautiful shot you took here! I love the focus on the eye. Good job on getting the catch light in there.

Congrats on a beautiful shot! I've done it three times, I mean, 7+ and no ribbon, so I know how it feels. But you'll get there soon, I'm sure!

Wow!!! 7.2 and having a spectacular photo like this without winning a ribbon!! I think I know about that painfulness :) It so deserves a ribbon!! Congratulations on a truly stunning image!!!!!

Congratulations! Great finish...I just realised your funny title. Would have given you an extra point for that and you might have gotten the yellow ribbon! Well done

I can feel the bumps -- great crispness in the head and shoulders. one of my ribbon picks

I like the framing and colors. A smaller aperture might add some sharpness to the edges of the lizard.

Excellent clarity, one of the top images in the challenge. The green and black background compliments the lizard nicely.

Brilliantly photographed. Although it feels just a little over sharpened, it does a beautiful job making me feel the texture of the lizard's skin. Nice catch light in its eye. DOF (subject vs background) is very nice. Among my top picks.

Incredible detail and great BOKEH. Tack-sharp focus and great colors. My only nit-pick is the cropping of the foot.

Wow. crazy detail. very nice. I know most people don't think it s an issue, but the title...I would have simply called it "Lizardus Texturus". There is no need to specify "backyard lizard" in my opinion. titles are important in my opinion because they help convey the message. Or maybe....you are making a "Road Runner, Wyluie Coyote" reference here... Anyways, bottom line: very nice shot. good luck

Great texture and the colors are nice. Im not a big fan of the background though, it's a bit empty like this. Also it hurts to see the leg cut off like that.
