 This abstract is created by mixing a bit of paint in a can of oil, shooting from above, and some post-processing.

Thanks to my wife Irina for the idea of this shot, and of course to all voters and commenters!


...a ribbon would be nice, but a 4th place is not bad, too :)

What a wonderful creation, populated with quirky beasts. (I didn't find the woman.) The whole series is fantastic - you could hold a gallery exhibition.

Your imagination surely beats mine, Paul. I just saw a few funny creatures and plants, but I knew there must be a woman there somewhere, just could not see her. Thanks for revealing her for me! :)

[Actually, I thought this was the least erotic photo from the series. Now I am not so sure...]

There's a beautiful woman trapped in there, Lev. I see her right eye, just to the right and above centre. I see a garland of flowers in her hair. I see her raised upper arm, starting left centre and extending up through the top of the frame. And I see her breasts at lower centre and right (well, OK, I always see breasts). And now that I've found her, I cannot look at this image and see anything else.
This is a beautiful series of photographs ... well conceived, flawlessly executed and beautifully processed. Oh, and the titles are a final sublime touch.

9 - Very nice. Criticism (somewhat difficult with abstracts); maybe just the colors tweaked up a bit more. Difficult, but also maybe a little more definition in the swirls/shapes/lines etc. Up to 9 from 8.

I have no idea what this is, but I like that I keep looking at it and finding little creatures hidden in the lines and colors. This is an image I can look at for a while without getting bored. Well done :)
