Being relatively new on this site, I occasionally look at what has done well in the past. This photo really struck me, not only because of the inherent and increadible beauty of this model, but because you have done such a magnificent job in capturing that beauty!!

Normally I would have given this a 10 but in this challenge with all the great photos I gave it a 9. Still I thought it would rank better and perhaps even ribbon. Definitely ribbon worthy.

I'm glad to see this one did well in the contest. I REALLY liked it (gave it a 10), but I was afraid it might get lost with all the other portraits. Well done!!!

One of the prettier portraits in your series of Jen's marvelous photos. THere is some tough competition, but hopefully I'll see you in the top 50 with this one.

Justin, this is just an awesome shot. Jennifer is a gorgeous model with piercing eyes that demand attention. You've got the skills man. I like how you framed this shot and the even tones work so well here. DOF is perfect, well done Justin. 10 from me.

Abeauifulshot. Nice, crisp focus on the eyes. Soft skin with good tones. Th long hair looks great and I'm happy o see none of the the hair is going across her face. Well done!!

This is very, very good. Wonderful eyes, beautiful model. A tiny little bit of critisism: I personally don't like the fact that the wall on the right is in focus. Other than that: perfect! All this imo, obviously. Good luck!

Just lovely! This shows that a great portrait can be without cute Asian faces a'la Librodo. If this is Librodo's (altho' I don't think so), even better 'coz that really demonstrates your prowess of any subject. I would have preferred a little more headroom even if it's cropped so that the eyes fall into the realm of RoT.

Wow, this was taken in 2005? It seems like I've been seeing this photo on DPC forever. One of the stronger portraits I've seen on DPC, the sepia/desat processing is stunning. A beautiful model, and you nailed pretty much every element. No wonder it became a heavy favorite, and I'm not surprised to see it here.

I remember this girl from your other work, Elsapo. I like the image you have chosen for your best work of 2005, the color tones of the hair fit well to the background. Photographically it comes over with impact. The composition is ideal, I wouldn't have cropped it any differently. The hair wildly blowing in the lower half of the frame and "cleaner" at the top is also effective. I find however that you have over-processed the eyes a little, the detail is lost in the whites of the eyes and a little unnaturalness has been introduced. And although not to drastic, the aura on the upper lip is just over borderline, I would have reduced that effect only slightly. Otherwise a super photo and one of the better I have seen amongst these 800+ entries!

Well, I can't imagine that you aren't getting a top score for this one! It got a 10 from me. Wonderful shot of a gorgeous young lady. And since I recognize her from your portfolio; I'll take the opportunity to say that IMHO, she looks much better in the shots (like this one) where her eye makeup is more natural, and not too heavy. Great job!

Beautiful eyes. My only gripe is the thin pink stripes on her jacket, they seem to add nothing to the photo and tend to pull my eyes away from her eyes.
