Nothing new recently. It's almost too hot to shoot here without getting sweat on the camera and lens.
This was shot with my P & S cam, about 20 miles out in the ocean one day, when we were fishing for mahi.

I never even saw the itsy bitsy spider until I opened it for PP.
I'm still doing flip'n'blend, it's so much fun.

Went out on my first ever serious bug finding macro shooting exploration 2 days ago after following this thread for a while...

Can anybody tell me what in the world this is???

On a side-note, it was the most fun I've had taking pictures in a long time. However, here is me yesterday on my way to Instant Care with a horrible case of poison ivy.

Glad you had fun, but so sorry about the poison ivy! You really didn't have to delve into that on our account ;-)

So it's been unreal hot. And I've been unmotivated since vacation to shoot macro. But heck it's my challenge right? SO I better jump back in. My son caught a Praying Mantis the other day, I've been itching to photograph him, but wow it's very active and very small, less then 2.5 inches from top to bottom. I finally realized how to keep him entertained enough to hold really you just feed him something to eat. :D

So I caught a small hoverfly just to make sure he would eat, and wow did he eat. So next a small cricket, then i got out the camera. Warning some are a bit graphic, but I recommend clicking the larger image button. :D

Finally, I had a macro moment today, and this is all that I could come up with.
