Ok, here is my Landscape for Feb...I am not totally happy with the edges of the erasing...would appreciate any guidance there you can give...thanks

I re-edited my shot...I took off the Gaussian Blur (I wanted a "soft dreamy effect" but I missed the mark) and I changed the border....how is "feathering" used and when... (I am using PSE7)

Here's my February entry. All comments welcome - I started off with a very "flat" photo and did far more editing than I normally like to do. Not sure I'm really happy with the final result.

Here's my February. I'll be back to comment on everybody's Feb entries tomorrow

 Re-edit:

Tried to knock down the highlights with shadow/higlights and cloned the ligthouse signal from another shot taken at about the same time. The light at nubble is a red light that alternates on/off every three seconds

Yes, it was as cold as it looked. Good thing this is far enough from my house that the car was warmed up - I needed the heater afterwards. This farm is just West of I-496 near exit 25 on the NE side of Ft. Wayne. |

This is a shot from the past.....I didn't get to what I wanted to for February, so I'm dredging one up from my archives that is in my area that I chose.

Well, I kinda forgot about this side challenge, but here's a landscape I'd considered for February Free Study but did not enter.

This was taken in January but I'm throwing it in anyway.. this image never received any comments from the galleries so I welcome any and all comments here. I'd really like to know what y'all think of it so I can determine whether or not it's worth the bother capturing future night stars images. Thanks in advance!

		Hi All,
I've taken a bit of a break. However in the next week or so I'll try to catch up on a lot of commenting.

And, FWIW, here's a reshoot of it that I entered in the Hidden Gems challenge:
