I too would have consider a crop to remove the power lines and vehicle. It was my first reaction before reading the comments already made. For me the next thing is the flat lighting. Playing on dark and light is what really makes a landscape image pop. The light is against you here. Compositionally it good but the light is drab. |

Great shot! I don't mind the wires and the vehicles in the background, I think it makes a whole 'old versus new' feel. |

Wow! Tough shot to work with. But, you've definitely brought some depth to it. I like the curved "line" through the center of the shot, and the parallel of the herd with the edge of the sand. The shot may be a tad dark, but that gives me the impression of the end of the day, and bringing the sheep back to shelter for the night. Don't you just love trying to work around power lines in the background? They are subtle enough to not be distracting. Very nice shot. |

just curious why is it so dark??? after RAW conversion you should have a "brighter" photo, unless this was taken at night... I really like the landscape of your shot...not sure but I might have cropped out the top of the sand (get rid of the wires and vehicle...) but otherwise an excellent shot...it is very interesting... |
