It's nice to have a relaxed side challenge. Thanks Jeanne!
An edited version of one of my images. Thx for the suggestions. I hope this is better than the original. |

Nice captures! Seems like all variants of turkeys are ugly no matter how you slice it. (No pun intended!)
I took this one at the Brevard Zoo. Man she's ooogly! |

Another variant of an image that I posted here. Sorry that I didn't take more care before posting these images. I was just so anxious to participate that I didn't put forth my best efforts from the start.

Thanks for the turkey shots scooter97. I didn't shoot anything wild today, but will have a look around in a bit, and post something from a while back.

Thankyou for this . I haven't been able to find anything wild since this started and thought I was out of it, but now I can grab some that I already have and start playing!
I'll catch up with comments soon.

No apologizing in side challenges! Unless, of course, that's your idea of fun ;-)
Off to find some more unprocessed wild things. It's still too early in the morning to see any outside my window but maybe I'll see some later. |

These iron heads are not as colorful as turkeys, but they are almost as ugly up close. There were about a dozen of them. This is from the same spot as the crane yesterday.

Here is one of an uninvited dinner guest at Thanksgiving. We could hear him buzzing from 50 yards away.
I didn't get any new critter shots today, unless you count my cat Bootsy with the wild mouse that he captured this evening.

The bird feeders come through for me again:
I love shooting wildlife in winter from the comfort of the indoors ;-) |

Like Mary, this was shot from the comfort and warmth of the house! The squirrel was taking nuts from my neighbours peanut bird-feeder. |
