And maybe the abbreviation of the element must be included in the title. Some of these things are mighty ethereal. The voters might have no clue what the image represents. I like the idea Karen, because of the many possibilities it represents!

I like this idea. How about making it an exclusive challenge with the other one being the Human Element?

great idea ...if allowed broad interpretation - like maybe 'illustrate/portray/convey' an element' rather than take a photo of it. i don't want to see a bunch of jewelry and rocks!

This is a really cool idea - having both the Periodic Table of Elements and the Human Element. There'd be some great images for sure!

This is a great idea! However, if anybody uses "PB" instead of "Pb", expect to lose a point. I'm a chemist, and that is a huge pet peeve of mine.

So you are suggesting that we should not substitude lead for PB (as in peanut butter) in our PBJ sandwiches?

Back on topic....
I don't think the challenge would be about the letters, but about the elements themselves...

I think it would be a great challenge and I also like the idea of pairing it with the Human Element. :)
