Share your photos you enjoyed taking.

Here's one of mine. I had a lot of fun thinking up things to put on the stickies, and the comments were great!

I loved that one of yours, Jeff. We can all identify with it, for sure!

Here's mine, for obvious reasons. Becky-Lee is SUCH a goof! (and the only person willing to model for me)

Sadly, she wouldn't leave the yard, though... I wonder why??

Eta; She just reminded me of the "balloon in the crotch" problem during the shoot.
The balloons were attached to a dance leotard and I needed her to redress for retakes.
She struggled into it, which wasn't easy, then I hear, "Mommmyyyy.... hellllp...?"
One of the balloons had flipped itself inside and was giving her a VERY manly crotch bulge. She didn't want to take the whole thing off, and we ended up in a giggling fit while I tried to work it out without popping it or touching anything ticklish.

In our family we have fun with most of our shots.
- Read the description - this was a blast.
- Almost laying on the floor in the main aisle of a Toys R Us yelling out directions to Aidan. Act like you are crazy and people leave you alone.
- Taken in a Mcdonalds bathroom. We were scared that management was going to call the cops on us. Anxiety makes for great photos.

But pretty much any pic of me or my kids in my portfolio was fun to shoot. DPC is a family affair for us.

Tim, you were the first who came to mind when I saw this thread, and I figured you'd have to post almost everything you have here! :)

This was fun:

I (obviously) enjoy working with woodies. They take direction well, are very tolerant of pain and rarely talk back to me.

Same could be said of peas, grapes and rubber duckies though.

And levyj413 and I had the same concept for that procrastination challenge:

edit to add: "Fun" is anything where I get to light something on fire. :P

Much like timfythetoo the shots that are most fun are the one of my daughter, she is such a ham! These are just a few but all of her are a blast to me.

Eve was so attached to her binkie that we thought our family Christmas photo should be fun and we should all have one

I'm off work on Thursdays and I get her all to myself, that is when the shenanigans break out, any funny photo we can muster, this is of her catching up on the news

One of my Favs, she is so big! This is at the Doctors office.

I always wanted to try to get a photo of lightning and its it was fun to see the lightning bolt after it has been captured. This one looks like it nearly hit the house about 1/2 mile from where we were standing which is close enough for me!

I have a bunch that were an absolute blast to shoot:

Most pics include a description of how they were done and what was involved in the comments section.

I never get anyone to model for me, so this was fun to take of my sister downtown. She was running up and down the steps and that is not like her at all!

I was tickled when I saw the baby swans riding on their parent's back, I had never see that before. It was fun to watch them

This was fun to set up and get people's reactions

This was fun because it meant I was in Washington DC......I never thought I'd get a chance to visit there.

Probably the most fun I ever had creating a shot:

This was fun...mostly exciting and nerve racking, but still a lot of fun.

One interchange between us that I didn't mention in the photographer's comments was a moment between us that was like the screaming scene in E.T. when the character played by Drew Barrymore comes face to face with E.T. in front of the closet and each of them take turns screaming in fear of each other.

This alligator obviously felt comfortable hanging out under the dock that I was kneeling on to get the shot. It would come out after the fish that I was attractng by tossing bits of pretzels on the water, but it wouldn't venture far from the dock. Even with the Tokina 12-24 it was usually too close to me to get a good shot that included his snout from the angle that I wanted. I would crouch or kneel down over and over again between getting up and walking away to check the LCD, readjust settings and very slowly go back to my position to kneel down again to recompose the shot. I could easily tell that he was scared of me and very wary of my actions and I certainly was of his. At one point when I was checking the last round of shots on the LCD the alligator moved away to the perfect position and the perfect angle. This time I quickly moved back toward my position on the edge of the dock. When I moved so quickly he suddenly let out a loud grunt which caused me to stop dead in my tracks. My sudden halt startled him further and he threw himself into reverse with a broad swipe of his tail and went underwater backwards. This sudden and powerful move scared the hell out of me and caused me to scream and jump about five feet up and five feet backwards at the same time. The funny thing was that all these seperate actions between us happened in about two seconds with each of us taking turns. I moved quickly, he grunted, I came to an immediate halt, he swooshed underwater, and I jumped out of my skin...back and forth, back and forth.

Afterwards, we both calmed down and looked at each other as if to say "Now that was silly, wasn't it?"

Whole family was involved from my hubby who tossed the flowers, the the youngest who is the model and the eldest who was my assistant with set-up & pick-up of the flowers. My youngest only posed for the flower shower for only 5 photos and said "O.K. I'm done!":-) But that was O.K. because I KNEW I got the shot I wanted with the 2nd click - the rest were back-up. Easiest shoot I have ever done - 20 minutes tops, packed up, came home and we all had ice cream:-)

My ever patient hubby put up with 2 days of shooting for this...and my neighbors thought I was nuts for hanging a white table cloth on the side of the house & sticking black paper plates on it:-)

Again, my ever patient hubby putting up with me:-) It was a hard but fun two days shoot....especially since my hubby had to look intensely at the golden idol like his life depended on it. It was hard not to crack up since this is what the front of the idol looks like:

We finally got to crack up with this one.
