Genevieve in her bumbo seat, it helps her sit up even though she can't on her own. I was snapping some picks of her and I thought this would be funny. I wish my room were bigger and less cluttered so I could have gone wider on this shot. I know there is lots of distractions in the shot but this just tickles me

This is priceless! I wouldn't change a thing. And the clutter? What clutter? That's real life hanging out there on the margins. Just let this be - it's perfect.

this reminds me of when my daughter Kailey was 2 and walked over to the tv that was not even on and grabbed my sega controller and sat down...i knew she had seen dad do it TOO much.

Nice to see you are setting the example of staying up on current events! :)

Ha! I agree with Brad's comment about clutter being part of life. Show me a house without some clutter (especially with kids), and it's probably a house you wouldn't want to live in. This is a great shot, and one you should save for her. I like the square crop, and see no need to go wider.

I love it. No ADD in that baby is there. She is FOCUSED! :) This makes me smile.

This is priceless. A vignette may help suppress some of the surroundings.

excellent, the fact that she is in focus was a good choice. Take the time to clone out the window on the right, the brightness really competes with the TV.

Bravo on knowing when to pick up the camera.
Absolutely love the point of view on this.

Clutter? What clutter - it's REAL life.
Removing it would make it sterile and not have that genuine look and feel of real life to it.

Timeless shot and one to cherish for sure!

That's just too cute. And don't worry about the clutter. There's just enough of a blur at that range so it's not really much of a distraction.

The is a picture to put a smile on the face. If it were a cartoon I don't think it would be nearly as effective.

Really, really cool shot. I won't analyze it but only to say that it works.

LOL, awesome shot! My 5 month old son uses his bumbo seat a lot..that thing is a great invention!

The picture itself is so captivating! It speaks volumes to me... This would have made a great environmental portrait too LOL!
