I must say, notwithstanding the qualities of the the top pictures of this month, there are some photos like the ones above I really felt were stronger, both technically and in originality. And while I'm sure you could always say that, I felt it particularly this month.

an amazing Free Study with such great shots. The best I could do was narrow it down to 6, and that was still too much cutting.
