Self Portrait

A note about self-portrait. I skipped voting on any self-portrait of online friends that I recognized. The above photos I did not recognize and are excellent wonderful portraits.

A very special thank you to Master Gordon who has taken upon himself the Herculean task of working with the creatively impaired (me!) and has worked patiently to steer me in new directions...(please feel free to send him a sympathy card). I personally will send him flowers!

I think this is a great shot too... many probably didn't know what they were looking at - which makes it even better for "Seeing the Unseen"...

From the Hell Challenge



A poigniant shot that reflects the harsh reality of some children's lives. This image is not passing critical comment on the parents who are forced into this position but rather illustrates that for some kids what we might consider to be an everyday 'normal' childhood is far removed from their actual day to day life. For me this was the best (if that word is appropriate in the circumstances) shot in the challenge by a mile

From the Automobile Cahllenge I have to say this photo is most deserving. Dirt_Diver was robbed by a DQ that should have never happened. Especially when the same technique was used by the 6th place finisher that wasn't DQ'd. But you have all seen the threads about this so I don't need to repeat it. I just want to point out that this image did not deserve the injustice that it received!

I think that I was the kiss of death in this challenge as the three pictures I gave 9's to came unbelieveably low

Yellow -

And this was my favourite for the Red.
