Nice photo and I think you got screwed here with the DQ...
Why would another here that was similar to yours with knocking out the background not be DQ'ed but you get the DQ... not fare at all to me..
Again nice photo... sorry for the DG :-( |

Looking at the outtakes, this sure looks like a real Shelby to me. I would sure like to see the difference between this and a real Shelby.
Sorry about the DQ Joe. It appears the DQ's were heavy when it comes to brightening or darkening images in this challenge and that is a shame. But, as we all know, it happens. I see you are putting some nice photos up with that D40 of yours. If only this site would run DPL2 so we can put it to some good use for the team. Sigh...oh well.
Congrats on a great shot anyway.

Very cool shot - love the high contrast feel of this. The brightness in the background really works well - and I like the doorways on the left to add some complexity to the shot. |

I don't like that you washed out the background. Maybe that would look ok with a different color car. |

The title didnt need to be that long. OK, the shot is good, the contrast is very good, I am wondering if they has been a little out of the rule editing going on here, but I will let it pass.. a good all-round shot that should place in the top 20. |

cool capture and PP to dodge out everything on the right, matching the white stripes on the car. bold centered coposition, work very well |

having just the doors on the left visible makes it feel unbalanced to me. it needs something on the right. |

Another VERY good image in which the car really looks like an Automobile Ad shot. Good luck. |

I'm not digging the white atmosphere. Nice car though. |

Almost a high key shot. It goes well with the B&W look. -6- |
