I have fallen far behind but will be caught up in the near future.

Here I offer the last two shots that I would categorize as pretty.

Enjoy them. The next to come after will not be "pretty"
Funny how a slice of life is often not so pretty...

An old bridge I found while on our trip to Vale, Oregon. I like the light shining through the bushes down from the bridge.

this is not a slice of life but a huge chunk ..
i've been trying to get something for the macro and yesterday i took heaps of photographs of these cicada shells that are on the trees around here .. anyway this morning i found something a lot more pleasing to the eye than a cicada shell .. i personally love insects and the appearance of even the most unattractive looking ones, but not everyone makes allowances for their ugliness like me ! lol .. anyway wot better place to put all the various versions i tried out, each of which has spent time in macro challenge .. of course none of them are in it now and wots in is nothing like either a cicada or a spider !!!
this one seemed too overprocessed

this was the one i would'v gone with but thought it was a bit in your face for the sensitive souls ..

so i considered this one which was more laid back but lacks impact ..

or this one which also lacks impact .. a safe choice ..


so i went for a walk on the firetrail this morning and found something that i like a lot better .. wish me luck .. i was hoping for more than 6 for the cicadas but judging by my previous attempts i'd'v probably got mid 5's ..

As I promised, These next couple of days really make you wince. But they are true slices of my life as it went down at the end of this week.

Day 14 and I'm caught up!
Probably won't last, but at least I'm here now.

I hope this slice from the darker side of life isn't too disturbing.

I caught these little guys working on a fake "peep snuff" film. How they could think anyone would believe that a pig can shoot straight is beyond me...
