So sorry to hear the news Christian. I'll be thinking about you.

Jeffrey, congratulations on your honor at the other web site. That symmetry shot is really a good one.

Susan, I love your new house!

Christian, sorry to hear about your dog. I hope some fun or good photos come from that long trip you are taking with your friend.

I am a little bummed by my stupidity. I didn't fill the frame enough and am getting DNMCs on what I consider a strong photo. I should have saved it for Free Study. Phewy!!

Ouch. Sorry, Julianne. You liked my entry, anyway. That's good, because you inspired it. :)

Well, you and I are apparently partially filling the same boat then, as that seems to be the issue that is keeping my Full-Frame entry at 4.6 and sinking.

See you all in a week. Off to on a mini vacation. Can't wait to see what you all have for your challenges and free studies.

Friendly wager... my entry is less friendly than yours. Whoever scores lower wins the wager.

Its a deal!

If I win you have to write a poem on my image. :P

Ok, I am not sure how you managed to breach the DPC servers and discover exactly which photo was mine, then give it a 10, thereby skewing my score in order to win this bet. I cry foul!

This might be an issue for the SC to look into. And here I believed you were totally above board and honest. Oh how far our heroes can fall

;-)

Fellow Suckers, if you haven't visited the results thread lately, please do so. Y'all have outdone yourself with thoughtful, creative, and just plain lovely entries in the past three challenges. Truly a pleasure to view. Pat yourselves on the back!

Okay, I've atoned for my lack of suckage by commenting on everyone's shots from the challenges that ended tonight. :)

I haven't been around much and I feel bad... you all are the most awesome people ever. So yes, popping in to say hi, and making a commitment to come here more often!

Thanks Jeffrey. And yes, I agree that it may have been a bit too centered, but I didn't want to make it any narrower. There's a bunch of crap to the right of the building that would have taken away from the peaceful feel of the scene, so I couldn't compose it with more space on that side. Just workin' with what I have! And it's a bit oversaturated - there really isn't a lot of color here so it's kinda nice that Photoshop can find it when the eye cannot.

I believe that Entropy is due for a shot in the arm.......and Shez's talent and attitude would be just the ticket.

At least that's my vote!......8>)

Don? Doesn't she need the appropriate strange homework/initiation assignment first, though?

Under the "new rules" (sounds like "new math" to me for some reason, though I have never had to deal with that as a discrete concept in my lifetime; math was always just math) I should comment on all the "Backlighting III" shots, right?

Normally Posthumous contacts the wannabee suckers with a secret or not-so-secret assignment. :)
