This is one of the most raw, compelling images I have ever seen. There are also some of pawdrix that are compelling too, especially the street shot of the homeless girl putting on her make-up, but they do not appear to be in his collection on line at the moment :-(

I can honestly say that this pic took my breath away as its rare to find other people that have had a preme as early as this. My son was born also at 24 weeks and is also doing great and turning 3 next sunday. I do have a few pics online but havnt moved any to DPC. Sorry for the slight off topic/hijack...
this is one of my favorite, no post work done, the isolet they had him in was misty from the high humidity and caused the blur around the edges.

There are so many, but the shot that immediately came to mind was this one...

Wow, I didn't realize that until you said it. I'm really suprised you weren't mentioned before. |

You're doubly welcome! That was a great bribe photo. :-) My comment to Robert goes to you as well. |

You and I are mid-high level plodders, dude. Our work is not characterized by "breathtakingness" as much as it is by "competence" :-)

It's interesting that if you scroll these messages and take in the thumbnails, the overall sense is of darkness and warm colors. Conclusion? "Breathtaking" means dark and rich and warm more than anything else. Sort of like good coffee :-)

It's also worth noting the very disproportionate number of sepia/B&W images. |

Nice to hear from you, got a good comment from your husband on one of my pics :) you were rite, my son was slightly smaller at 539g and about 32cm long. I also like talking to other parents in similar situations and actually we still talk to a few of the parents that were in the hospital at the same time as us with Brandon. :)

Y'all are killing me! I sat down in my office to get some work done, and since I saw this thread it's now h-o-u-r-s later...
Glad I saw the thread though, I hadn't seen a lot of these truly amazing shots. |
