Can I add another? Pretty please? If so, I think Skip Rowland, aka: Skiprow has proven himself to be very inspiring on this site. |

Well, Setzler, it'll be intersting to see what your purpose is. After having so strongley professed your distaste for lists I can't imagine why you're creating one of your own, but I'll play too, I love experiments!
My nomination is: Joey Lawrence.
1. Love his photography, so do lots of people, no explanation needed.
2. His feedback makes me laugh, sometimes a simple I love Slippy, or just an emoticon, like :-P, or some other entertaining comment. So, not being a pro photog like many others, I value these types as comments on a different level than the techie comments. I do like all types of comments, though!
I look forward with curiosity to what you will come up with. No right or wrong here, but sounds like fun.

I don't like these lists and generally don't post to them. But I will make an exception here, and wanted in gratitude to extend a vote to Robert (bear_music). I have found his comments insightful and helpful, and he has been there "consistently" commenting on many of my requests for comments. There are others though, so I'll see that bear_music and raise you a Shannon (scalvert), and a Daniel (Graphicfunk).

For the quality of his work, JJBeguin, but he comments so rarely that perhaps the falls behind Robert(bearmusic) for the ability to corral dificult concepts in a phrase or two, a verbal skill which almost matches his visual skill: and Daniel(graphicfunk) for his dilligence, insight, and desire to encourage others. |

What will happen if whomever makes the "list" in the end doesn't wish to be a part of an "experiment" of this kind?

They, of course, don't have to participate. |

bear_music always gives fabulous advice on photos, equipment, post processing--all of it. But for comments, I'd also like to throw gwuara, rikki11, lentil, and qart into the mix.
I've had several comments from these folks and they've all been very helpful! :-) |

Wow - that's really tough... If I had to narrow it down to ONE and ONLY ONE person that both inspired me with their photography AND always provided generous & constructive feedback, it'd have to be graphicfunk (with Jutilda as a close 2nd)! :-) |

For those of you who have mentioned more than one name in your post, if you would like to have your input counted, please PM me with a single name... |

Skiprow - Not only for helpful comments but just being helpful and positive in general. His threads about his jump into photojounalism are way beyond helpful and inspiring (not to mention entertaining). So my vote is for Skip. :-) But the great thing is there are probably a good 10 or 20 if not more "Skips" on this website.

tough to choose but my vote goes to undieyatch:
For some unknown and wonderful reason, he has provided after-the-challenge comments on all my photos. I've returned the favor but he started it. His are insightful and offer likes/dislikes in a candid and appreciative way. Don't know if he does this for others... happy he takes the effort on mine.
Theresa
ps - I would like to thank you (as I have done in the past) for your feel on some of my photos
editted to add: just read the entire thread and saw that I was nominated -- I can call my day complete :) -- by the same person I nominated

Looking through the thread, I see a few votes for people seemingly based on their photography alone - I thought you were asking for a balance of feedback and photography. May want to clarify. Or not. :)
...and I never got the answer about the "Cage of Death" |
