Buttery Scrambled Eggs & Baconby LucidLotusComment: mmm,, from a food styling point of view, the bowl should have been wiped off.
It's a bit over exposed so the eggs look rather like popcorn. Good angle though.

Emergenceby zeuszenComment: This is an amazing image. Is it converted from colour? Clouds or smoke/steam?
It took me a while to find the bird, which in a colour image may have been annoying.
With this treatment it works quite well. 9 |

Lonelinessby rollingstoneComment: Wow.......... excellent use of light to set the mood. I love the way you used so little of the model. Even with that it is very obvious how they feel. I appreciate seeing minimalist B&W shots. 9 |

Lonelyby arnitComment: Outstanding. The nose down is a little soft, I think this should have been either sharp or soft, not a combination. Excellent use of B&W.9 |

Alone no more...by bruskiComment: THis is an exceptional image. Composition, use of highlighting everything about it.
This would not have worked as a colour image, IMO. 10 |

lunch timeby dc broughtonComment: Very good human interest study. I like the use of B&W. One small thing is it's not level. That throws off the compostion a little,, 7 |

California Rollby TooCoolComment: One of my absolutely favourite dishes... I question the use of this patterned plate. It's a bit distracting. Very nice colour and focus. |

Rice-Stuffed Cornish Hensby SonifoComment: Looks very inviting, and wow what a lot of work. There is so much going on in this shot I found it a little hard to focus on what is being presented. There is little definition to the actual hens in the shot. I would have left more space around the platter and chosen one theme to use as props,, the gourds and leaves or the crockery.6 |
