I like this one a lot but I'm thinking maybe there's a little too much of the subject in the dark? Just my opinion! Don't get me wrong tho, I do like it!

This is one of the best. Very high in my favourites. I like the B\W choice. Without it, the picture wouldn't have been the same. A good photo is always easy to recognize and certainly this is one of them. 10, well deserved.

WAY to dark...may have been a contender if there was a tad more light

I love the use of light in this image. Really enhances the emotion behind it. I wish it wasn't centered quite so much in the middle.. more dead/black space to the right might be an idea. The focus looks a bit soft, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but I think it works very well with the image. Nicely done. 8

I like your use of lighting. It sets a very somner feeling to the subject. The backdrop doesn't really work for me though. Well, it works, but isn't ideal. I think having her sitting alone on a bed or a quilt could have worked better.

This one probably works really well as a poster. This small, I'd like to see a little more of the face.

great lighting and pose from your subject. My only suggestion would be to give more negative space to the left to lead the subject some. I think that centering the subject as it is takes away from some of the emotion that could be had. Just a thought. Nice work.

Wow.......... excellent use of light to set the mood. I love the way you used so little of the model. Even with that it is very obvious how they feel. I appreciate seeing minimalist B&W shots. 9

Very nice, just enough light to make out the subject. I'd maybe have shown some more face detail to allow an expression to show through.

Great idea. A little too dark with this one. I might have considered pointing the light up from down low to put less light on the sheet or whatever she's sitting on

nice dramatic lighting, but I would have liked just a little bit more to wrap around her face.
