Though I think the navy blue background (carpet?) works well, I think that something with less texture might force my eye to look at the texture of the pitted marbles more. I think I would have cropped it a little less closely, and gotten in the small parts of the leather bag that seems artificially chopped. Otherwise, neat subject, composition, and lighting.

Beautiful. Love the sky and how the sun shines right through that window. Certainly isn't anything that looks like this where I live. The centering works. I like how it's almost silhouette, but I think I'd have liked to see a tiny bit more detail in the house front. Not completely, but just a bit. My monitor could be dark though.

Weird, it looks sort of like an umbrella. But I'll take your word it's a spiral stairwell :-) The red railing is really nice in there. Interesting subject, seems a little bit soft though. I hate leaving that comment, but it really does.
