Looks like a serious pocket knife. Yes, more contrast and crop out that brown thing in the upper left. That sounds a bit demanding on my part. How about I would like a tighter crop to remove the distracting brown area in the far upper left corner. I guess I had been using my serrated edge keyboard to start this comment. Sorry. I wonder if it was a reaction to the knife and the aggressive blade. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Photos that cause a strong reaction. Good work!

The directional lighting is a great idea here but a touch bright on the bottom. I love all the textures and fuzzy parts. I think you captured some drama here. Very theatrical in the lighting. Someone could be lurking in the shadows.

The textures on the wires are wonderful and the spilling light could be cropped out IMO. I agree that ther could be come great details on the ends of the wires.
