I too was hoping for more sharpness of more DOF but it seems there are challenges with this reversed set up. Nice colors.

Love the perspective and DOF. Wish the focus was a bit sharper is all.

Too bad there's not more colour to those pedistrscils <--- I know, I forget what they're called. Getting more dof at that angle is dreaming with a reversed lens.

Well, regarding the DOF issue, if you can't beat it, join it. I like the oil painted look of this shallow DOF type of shot. Otherwise you may just have to keep your eyes open for subjects whose petals come back up to the focal plane.

I tried the reversing thing briefly last week and found it very tricky to control, so I have all the respect in the world for what you & other reversers are achieving.

Stunning! Soft, sensual, beautiful. The colors are amazing. Well done. It's very arty and would look fantastic as a print.

I shot it with a reversed 50mm - the DOF is crazy-shallow, and I already likely stopped it down to try and get more DOF (hence the darkness). I could try and lighten it up in PP but the DOF isn't going to get fixed. Any suggestions (other than buying a 105mm macro lens)?

The dof looks a little to shallow to me I find it very hard to pick anything out in the photo. I think with a little more dof this shot would really POP!

beautiful DOF, but the image is a little bit too dark.

Wonderful color combination and DOF, but very centered.
