| Love the sharp details in the texture here, and the way the rope in the background is just visible enough to know what it is. Lighting feels a bit harsh, but I suppose better harsh than low! Great job! |

| Wow ... the full size is much more dramatic than the thumb. It looked like the rope in the background was going to be distracting, but fullsize there's so much detail and sharpness in the foreground rope that the other one kind of fades away |

| This is my favorite macro from you so far. It is a bit twisted I'm a-fraid, but I love it. Great color, DOF and focus on your main subject. |

| I like the wonderful detail, exposure is great and I like the limited DoF with the out of focus rope making up the background. |

| I like the way you used DOF and positioned the subject so that it isolates the one strand from the rest of the rope in the BG. The strong light makes the texture stand out nicely, and the curve helps with interest. |

| Great detail with a generous DOF. The right side of the rope is flirting with harsh light but that's ok since my favorite part is on the top left where you can see under and between the rope strands. |
