First, I went into your portfolio, to look at this young ladies photo shoot, you did a fantastic job of capturing her personality.. On this take I like your overall concept, but looking at this outside of challenge rules you might look at a couple of issues. Unlike some of the comments about the stray hair I kinda like it, it adds a nice curve that in my opinion adds personality. The nose ring on the other hand �to me� just does not fit the �china doll� theme I think you are going for. The other thing that I noticed was on the original shot the shadows on the sides of her mouth look normal, but on the porcelain skin and red lips of your end result, it almost looks like she might have had chocolate cake for a snack and missed a spot or two.
Anyway take my thoughts with a huge grain of salt, I usually fail to accomplish critical acclaim on my own lackluster attempts at art.

I like the Mayberry feel to this one. I find sometimes a little dodge and burn sometimes help make things appear more in focus, it might help the boys a little.

I thought I was test driving CS3, but the more I see on this side challenge, the more I realized I have just fond out where to put the keys to start it up. Nice work!

My guess, well into the sixes, you should have kept it in the challenge. Personally I would have rated it a 9 or 10..

It seems Boutrells magic glass (action) acts like a clear Polarizer,to my eye anyway. Nice clean image..

I remember a show for kids when I was a youngling. After mentioning all the fun things the show had to offer, they said �if your not careful you might learn something�. That might be the case here. In truth if your first image was taken by me, I would have reviewed my card, and probably deleted the photo, Yet you saw the diamond in the rough, Nice edit!
