Taken at Slate Run Historical Farm.

PP - RAW conversion, crop, skew, removed trees on side of frame, S/H, selective color, dodging, levels, an action called Boutrells magic glass (I would need to look at the action steps to figure out what it actually does), resize, USM, spot saturation, dodge the sky, burn the path and grass, boutrells magic glass action again.

with just a fast glance I've noticed how much better the sky, the driveway, and the elimination of the branches makes your finished product. Great job.

subtle yet effective process .. like the way you've cropped out the trees on either side of your image giving more impact to your subject .. like how the cows werent immediately obvious to me and then i saw them .. which was an added bonus .. !! .. great shot and excellent process .. :)

Wow the after composition has alot of visual punch. The clouds take on a magical sort of errie feel in this composition. The red hues on the side of the barn are a bright almost candy apple red - tis really pops nicely. The original the color hue is darker - flatter in contrast. The after has the barn in greater brightness/contrast. The color hues are also richer and thus the visual appeal increases because of it. And I did not notice the bull at the entrance to the barn in the original. He fades a bit too much into the backdrop. But in this after image, you notice him more because the differances in brightness/contrasts. There is more sheen to his coat and the horns are whiter and brighter. Good job in removing the tree branches on either side of the composition - they would have been distracting elements adding nothing to the composition overall.

I LOVE this edit. You really brought out the 3D in the image. It seems to almost pop off the page from the original. Sky detail is lovely as well. Excellent cloning job of the trees too :)

Nice work. It looks like my grandfather's old barn. I especially like the detail you got on the front side of the barn. If I'm going to quibble, I'm not sure like the color of the cattle. They seem to blend into the front of the barn more than before, and I think I'd prefer the opposite.

It seems Boutrells magic glass (action) acts like a clear Polarizer,to my eye anyway. Nice clean image..
