Day 14 of 50 - Ready-Mix Sunsetby krafty1Comment: Another fantastic sunset capture, which although very different to in some ways reminds me of the brilliant negative space image you took during our (almost) glorious DPL season
Fantastic and effective silhouetting as well |

50Day17: Firetruck and Bootsby citymarsComment: Great strong reds in this shot. the boots are kind of stange as despite the flourescent stripes they almost seem to merge into the background
Possibly could have been straightened a fraction but the fact that the arrow on the truck is pointing in the direction of the slope makes it feel as if this is intentional and actually works well on the shot |

Pokin' Teethby karmatComment: I love this shot because in the thumbnail it almost seemed like a sea anenomae (sp?) and then open it up and you understand what it truly is. I just find myself amazed at the crystal clear sharpness you achieve in your macros....Stunning (and I am v envious) Message edited by author 2007-07-18 20:08:44. |

day 18. 50 days square crop. more sheepby rozComment: Another terrific shot of sheep. cant believe that it is cold, with the sun light in the shot it looks so much nicer then here in England.
I dont really know the breed of sheep here (but the one in the background is massive!!!)
Is that folds of flesh around the neck or just wool?
Great the way that two of the sheep are positioned at slight angles but looking straight at you and how this contrasts with the giant one standing across the horizontal point |

Day 16 - Palm Point Parkby bdennyComment: Yeah but if you are only going to get one picture then make it one like this
Once again, a perfect lesson in the importance of rule of thirds and the effective use of negative space
terrific image |

Day 15 - Sunflowersby bdennyComment: Great shot and wonderful rule of third application. really strong colours which are given more pop by the bokeh
The long grass stem in the back provides a great leading diagonal |

Day 14 - Grace's Weddingby bdennyComment: Lovely shot, the sense of fun and humour just shines out from Michael's mum and I love the ballroom dancing type pose with the hands |

Day 12 - There's...something...on the wing!by bdennyComment: But apart from that...good trip?
Have to say I can NEVER take decent shots from aircraft so I am doubly impressed
The green colour cast is fantastic (imo)it makes it look as if you are heading off into the outer reaches of the atmosphere (sorry possibly not want you want to hear if you are not a happy flyer)

Day 17by kellyrc01Comment: Very cool to have something so nice so close. I think the border works really well on this shot and the vivid sky blue in the top left hand corner adds a lovely dash of colour |
