 I forgot that I wasn't a huge fan of flying until I got on the plane to fly to Dallas (actually Houston, then Dallas). I got kinda not-so-good feeling and ordered and Bloody Mary. I felt better. :) But I was lucky enough to have a few kids behind me watching a dvd even when electronic devices were not approved.

The flights home was worse. Had to leave the hotel at 5am. No time for hygiene...sorry folks. Then had to sprint a few hundred yards to the connector before I missed it. Then kick some girl out of my lone window seat. Then have a nervous crying fit from being terribly exhausted and stinky. Then passing out with my complimentary apple juice in my hand only to be startled by the flight attendant and spill my juice all over me! At least I was beginning to lighten up, it was kinda funny really.

I was so so so glad to be on the ground in my truck driving around eating my messy subway lunch. Even though I accidently took the really long way.

Ahh, yes. That's my circular polarizer doing that funny color thing.

I like how it feels like I am flying here. Also, the colors really add to the overall effect, I think. Sorry the return flight wasn't much fun.

But apart from that...good trip?

Have to say I can NEVER take decent shots from aircraft so I am doubly impressed

The green colour cast is fantastic (imo)it makes it look as if you are heading off into the outer reaches of the atmosphere (sorry possibly not want you want to hear if you are not a happy flyer)

Great story! I haven't used my polarized much but I'm going to try after seeing those really cool colors. Composition is spot on.

Hahaha! From my perspective it's really funny! :op Glad you survived, though.

Lovely photo - fantastic textures of the clouds and the colors are of course awesome.

I love the color and the great view -- it is so hard to get a good picture out of those scratched up plastic plane windows but this is awesome! Sorry to hear that you don't like flying, good to hear that the bloody Mary helped :-)

Lol that is quite a detail of your trip that you have left here. At least you did not spill the bloody mary all over yourself. :D

This is a cool photo. I love the colors. I'll have to try that whenever I get on a plane again.
