this was an attempt to get close enough to these sheep to get something i could use for a challenge ..
it is so cold here today that my fingers are numb from going out and trying to photograph them .. but on a positive note the sheep came and took bread out'v my hand .. they must'v known it was just apple yesterday and were unimpressed ..

Wow, that's so cool you can see the rolls of wool that will probably be shanved off soon. They look much more interested iny ou today!

I like their poses here. The largest one in back looking away is pretty cool. I also like the shadowed foreground and lit background.

Another terrific shot of sheep. cant believe that it is cold, with the sun light in the shot it looks so much nicer then here in England.

I dont really know the breed of sheep here (but the one in the background is massive!!!)

Is that folds of flesh around the neck or just wool?

Great the way that two of the sheep are positioned at slight angles but looking straight at you and how this contrasts with the giant one standing across the horizontal point

So the sheep are more into carbs, eh? Very, very remarkable photo, Roz. I just love the textures and tones in this. Whatever you did - it's awesome. Do you have a sheep folder in your portfolio? I have a goat folder - and now I'm inspired to go shoot some more goats - except it's so hot here I'll probably spontaneously combust before I can push the shutter.

I just LOVE your sheep photos! We have some sheep by my house that we try to sneak up on and get photos of them, but they can hear us a mile away! I love the expression of the one in back; he just looks plain annoyed!! :)

Nice processing -- I really like the fuzz in the background and the sharp detail on the sheep.

These sheep are too good. If that big male in the back had been looking at you too then this would be a challenger.

You always seem to capture country life ever so well Roz, especially the Australian way of life in our country.

Oh Roz - this is wonderful. The detail on the fur is amazing. I love their faces and how they are just sitting there watching you. How cool is this that you get to walk up to a couple of sheep and have them eat out of your hand? Very cool.
