While taking the long way home from the airport, I realized I'd pass Neuman's lake so I had to stop at my favorite spot for a few pictures. But it was only 3pm and most of the birds weren't out. I only got one picture.

I really like the negative space here & the border works really well. The little bird looks hungry!

Yeah but if you are only going to get one picture then make it one like this

Once again, a perfect lesson in the importance of rule of thirds and the effective use of negative space
