Via Mazziniby JimiRoseComment: I think I like this one better, I'd even like a tad more contrast. |

birdsandblooms1.jpgby icu1965Comment: That's a bit of CA (chromatic aberration) you're seeing around the birds. Try using a 'Hue/Saturation' Layer in Photoshop or equivelent.
1. Add the hue saturation layer.
2. Select the magenta channel.
3. Now move your cursor out into the image and select the magenta part of the outline around the birds.
4. Back in the hue/sat dialogue you have now selected to work on that colour; play with the hue and saturation sliders until the outline looks natural (sometimes completely desaturating them is the way to go).
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for the green channel.
6. Using the layer mask, ensure that the rest of the image was not affected by your edit. If you need further help or clarification, send me a PM. |

Death on the Firetrailby GregoryBComment: 400mm? You luck devil! Great shot, I'd love to see some funky processing applied to this one! Check out Roz's shot for day 1. Look forward to the rest of your posts. |
