They kind of look like bacon bits. Good use of DOF, the eye is immediately drawn into the cup. Some might have complained about the china pattern being too busy or distracting, but here I find it adds some interest and color to the shot. Good concept.

I like the blue tone on this, reminds me of the ocean. I also like the DOF you've used. The lighing is a bit bright in some areas, so watch out for that. All in all, I think this is a good image that stands out in the challenge. Good work.

The size of your image is way below the allowed 640 pixel and 150 MB limits. You should take advantage of the size allowed. The compression here has ruined an otherwise decent shot. There are tutorials for resizing your image in the "Learn" section of the top navigation bar. Good luck with your future challenges, keep shooting!

That's kind of disturbing, but works well for the challenge. I don't care for the background though, it's very distracting, and the lighting is a littl harse. It is a good capture though, you've caught a very interesting moment.

I like this tilted composition, it adds tension to the scene. I also like that you've encorporated too superstitions into this at once. I do think though that this is not nearly as sharp as it should be, so that could be something you work on. Since you clearly have good ideas, paying a little more attention to the technical aspect will make your work stand out from the rest.

I'm trying to decide whether or not I like this the way it is or if I'd prefer a crop closer to the door to draw attention down the path. The colors and clarity are pretty good though, and I love that the area beyond the door takes on a painterly effect. Good work.
